Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any Hairveal-powered tool at hairveal.com or any salon-branded subdirectory, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Hairveal Is

Hairveal provides an AI-powered hair visualization tool that generates photorealistic previews showing what a hair replacement system might look like on a person, based on a photo they upload. The service is provided to hair replacement salons as a lead generation tool and offered free of charge to end users.

3. AI-Generated Results — Important Disclaimer

Results generated by Hairveal are AI-generated visualizations for illustrative purposes only. They are not guarantees, medical assessments, or predictions of actual outcomes. Actual hair replacement results vary significantly based on individual factors including hair type, scalp condition, lifestyle, and the specific products and techniques used by the salon. Hairveal makes no representations about the accuracy or achievability of any generated preview. Generated images should not be used as the sole basis for any medical, cosmetic, or financial decision.

4. AI Limitations and Prohibited AI Misuse

Hairveal uses third-party AI technology to generate hair visualizations. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not representative of achievable results. Results will vary between users even with similar inputs due to the nature of AI image generation. Different users may receive similar outputs. You are solely responsible for evaluating AI-generated results for accuracy and appropriateness.

You may not use Hairveal to produce false, misleading, or deceptive content. You may not use the tool to create synthetic images that impersonate any real person without their consent. You may not use AI-generated outputs in any way that misrepresents the origin, identity, or nature of the content.

5. Your Photo

By uploading a photo you confirm that:

• You are the person in the photo, or you have explicit permission from the person in the photo to upload it
• You are aged 18 or over
• The photo does not contain a minor
• The photo does not contain any other person's image without their consent
• You are not uploading the photo for any unlawful purpose

You grant Hairveal a limited, temporary licence to process your photo solely for the purpose of generating your visualization preview. This licence expires immediately after your preview is generated.

6. Consent to Contact

By completing the lead capture form and checking the consent checkbox, you agree to be contacted by the specific hair replacement salon whose tool you used, via phone, text, or email, regarding their hair replacement services. This consent is required to use the service.

By providing your mobile phone number you agree that the salon partner may send you SMS or MMS messages regarding their hair replacement services. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message received, or by contacting the salon directly.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload photos of minors
• Upload photos of other people without their explicit consent
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Use the service to generate content that is misleading, defamatory, or harmful
• Use AI-generated outputs to deceive or misrepresent any person or outcome
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the service

8. Salon Partners

Hairveal provides technology to independent salon businesses. We are not responsible for the services, pricing, or conduct of any salon partner. Hairveal expressly disclaims all liability arising out of or in connection with: the acts or omissions of any salon partner; the quality or outcome of any hair replacement service; any representations made by a salon partner regarding their services; the collection or use of your personal information by a salon partner after it has been shared with them. All such liability rests solely with the applicable salon partner. Any disputes regarding salon services should be directed to the salon directly.

9. Intellectual Property

The Hairveal platform, including its design, code, prompts, and branding, is the intellectual property of Hairveal. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the service without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Hairveal makes no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hairveal disclaims all warranties express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hairveal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated visualizations, or any actions taken by salon partners in following up with leads. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $100.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Hairveal service that cannot be resolved informally should be brought in state or federal court in Jackson County, Missouri. You and Hairveal both consent to jurisdiction in Missouri.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for any user who violates these terms or attempts to abuse or circumvent the service.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the last update. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
